Please pray for Sofia Helina!

Now this may sound crazy but Sofia Helina is the newborn baby of the Blackberry representative that helped me get my phone working again. His name is Terrance Crombie. I love my blackberry even more because of his customer service. He is the shit! I told him that plenty of times after he helped me lol. After spending over three and a half hours with him on the phone, we obviously got a chance to talk and get to know each other a little. Think about it... a customer service call that lasted over three and a half hours! How could I not engage into a great conversation with Terrance? He was completely patient and helped me reinstall my blackberry because the data software was corrupted.

Sofia Helina is only 8 days old but was born a pre-mature baby ten weeks early. They had to inject a steroid in her lungs so they could fully develop. She had a full head of black hair, but they had to shave it to connect the IV from the baby's head. It looks like they won't be able to bring her home for a few months. He said she looks just like her Mom and had over 4 baby showers; her friends, her family, co-workers, his family. I told him this baby is definitely blessed and loved with that many baby showers lol.

Terrence said he held her for the first time yesterday and was crying like a baby. It always warms my heart when I see a Father loving his Daughter. Makes me think of my Papa.

I wanted to share this story with you, because I truly believe in the power of prayer. Please pray for Sofia Helina in hopes for a fast recovery so that the Crombie family can bring her home sooner than expected.

Thanks! :)

FRUSTRATED!

I don't know what happened to my phone yesterday but it sucks not getting blackberry internet service on my phone right now. I can't get any of my emails or blackberry messages :( I can't even send any pics to my BeenUp2 either. It's crazy how much my life depends on my mobile device. I feel like I'm disconnected from the world walking out of the house naked with no clothes on lol. All I can do is make calls and send texts... oh and lurk The Underground too hehe.

Freakin' AT&T customer service is closed on Sunday... boo! *thumbs down*

*sigh* It could be worse.

Well I'm about to get ready to meet Arianny at Bare (the pool at The Mirage).

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

It's my father's 54th birthday today!

I am the baby out of three and I’ll never deny that I am Daddy’s little girl.

I love talking about my Papa…

I’m very proud of my father and the many accomplishments he has made throughout his life. He retired from the Air Force out of 20 years as a musician and vocalist. Technical Sargent Mel Suguitan is his military title. Growing up my Dad has had Air Force Military Pop Bands, RnB Bands, and Rock Bands. He was even a part of the Band of the Golden West. He sang the National Anthem for former President Ronald Reagan and even performed for our troops during Desert Storm too. After he retired, he went back to school to get his teaching credentials and now teaches Choir, Orchestra, and Mariachi at Ceasar Chavez High School in Stockton, CA. Yes, you read right. My Dad is a Mariachi teacher and he is Filipino. As a matter of fact, he is the first teacher to ever teach Mariachi in the San Joaquin County. He has received awards from the Stockton Unified School District.

My Dad was put on this earth to teach music (Oh and to have me too of course! lol) His passion to teach music goes way beyond words. He loves it. His students love him. I even get Myspace messages from his former students asking me about my Dad. Wait… that’s not it! My Dad is even the choir teacher at our church that my family has been going to for decades.

Put it like this… my Dad is the shit!

Growing up my sister and I would always watch boxing with my Dad. And now that his Baby works in the MMA industry whenever there is a fight we always call each other. It’s such a great bond to have with my Dad. His favorite fighter is Urijah Faber and after Urijah’s last fight my Dad called me just as I was walking out the press conference and talking with Urijah. I told Urijah that my Dad said Congratulations and put Urijah on the phone. Urijah told my Dad that I did a great job braiding his hair lol and my Dad told him he was awesome and enjoyed watching his fight. But to have my Dad talk to his favorite fighter after he just saw him fight on TV… that’s pretty freakin’ cool! I knew it would make my Papa happy hehe.

He is 350 miles away from me and whenever I miss my Papa I always play this YouTube video of him singing with his students.

And every time I hear Beyonce’s Daddy song I always cry. I remember the first time I heard it I had to pull over because my mascara was getting in my eyes and I couldn’t drive anymore. It really hits me right here in the heart.

Whenever I get married I know I am gonna cry the most when I get to have my Father Daughter dance. That’s how much my Papa means to me. He has taught me to believe in myself and never give up. He has given me the best example of what a man truly is. He’s been with my Mom since high school and to this day still grabs her hand and treats her like his Queen. He is always there when I need him and is the Best Dad in the World. I'm very thankful to have my Papa.

Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you and Mom more than anything. Thank you for reminding me to always keep my faith in God and giving me your unconditional love.

♥ Your Baby

Errrr I wish I could go!

Sucks I won't be able to make it to Joel Vera's birthday party at Alliance tomorrow. It pretty much bums me out. I wish I could be at two places at the same time.

I wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday on my site, even though he already got a text and phone call. He's just a little cutie pie I wanna pinch his butt HAHA. I tease his sister Michelle about him every time I see her too lol.

I don't think you guys understand what it's like to party with the Vera's. They are off the chains! Brandon his wife Kerry, Michelle, and Joel all know how to have a good time. That's why I'm sooooo jealous I won't be able to make it to San Diego. Plus, we haven't partied together since Brandon's last fight and I miss them.

Tagg Radio with Don Frye and Stone Trigg

This morning I stopped by the Tagg Radio studio in Las Vegas, NV. When I called Gorgeous George, a good friend and Tagg Radio host, to let him know I was coming into town last night, he was pre-celebrating his birthday with his brother, Brian aka Goze, who is another host on the show along with celebrity fighter Frank Trigg. Goze's birthday was on September 23rd and today is George's birthday. With that said, I'd like to wish them both a Happy Birthday. :)

Don Frye was in the studio along with the latest addition to the Trigg family, Stone. Stone is Frank's three week old baby boy. Nici, Trigg's wife looked freakin' amazing for having a baby only three weeks ago. As soon as I walked in Stone was sleeping right on his Daddy's chest. My heart melted. Stone is adorable!

There were a lot of people in the Combat Chat and over 101 viewers viewing the Tagg Radio webcam. I promised the chatters that I would blog about them with a shout out. So here goes... thank you Tagg Radio regulars for your continuous love and support throughout this past year. Chatters: .n3m, Ashley84, Aubrey, cjrrez, crklyn408, Dennis, Dick Barrymore, dru-tj, Elvis, fng, gmunit, importimageracing, j2k813, jrothman888, JuggermautJs, ktims86, libraporlibra, MuMbLeS, Paks, Sammytsquid, sanguiness, Shark_Tank, t.west, VIPete

I love going into the Combat Chat the mornings that I can. Every morning from 9AM to 10:30AM Tagg Radio puts on a great MMA radio show. I love knowing that if I look at my clock and it's 9:30AM, I could just tune into the show and log into the Combat Chat and get my daily dose of MMA. I've been listening to Tagg Radio for over a year now and I am very proud of all of their accomplishments. I always get happy when I see a Tagg Radio link on www.MMAJunkie.com in one of their articles. I know how much passion these guys have for the sport and it's refreshing to see how far they have come. I love me some Tagg Radio!

Well, I'm heading to Mr. Olympia at the Las Vegas Convention Center soon to see if I could get any potential nutrition and supplement companies to come out to our next IMMAE.

Be prepared for really great blogs for this weekend. :)

A Ladies Day with Aaliyah, Runyon Canyon, and Sushi!

Yesterday Drea, Arianny, and I went to go work out together. On our way to Runyon Canyon we were listening to Aaliyah, which put me in a really good mood. That's why I wanted to post this song on my site right now... one of my favs.

Runyon Canyon is my most favorite place to work out at in Hollywood. I love hiking all the way at the top of the hill just to say a little prayer. It's just so beautiful up there. You could see from Los Angeles all the way to Santa Monica and can even see the beach too. After a hard work out it's quite refreshing. That's why I say a prayer each time I get up there. Makes me thankful to see something so beautiful. Ahhhh I'm such a girl when it comes to the scenic scenes lol.

We got there really late. The park closes at sunset, but that wasn't gonna stop us from working out. We are trying to get our bodies looking good for this weekend. Drea and Arianny are both working at the Mr. Olympia convention in Las Vegas this weekend and ME, well... I just need to get my ass back into shape now that our IMMAE show is over. I'm trying to get it back to when it looked like this lol:

Anyway, after Runyon Canyon we went to our favorite sushi spot in Hollywood, Kura Sushi. Drea and I go there all the time. As a matter of fact, we go there so often we have our own personalized chop sticks. When we walk in and sit at the sushi bar, they hand us our chop sticks hehe. I love Kura! I am such a sushi condisuer too. I had a rainbow roll, Drea had albacore, and Arianny had a miso soup and salad.

Check out my Rainbow Roll made with love by the owner, Sunny.

At dinner we were all having girl talk doing what women do best lol. Yes, we all talked about the men who are in our lives and even ones who aren't in our lives anymore too. The many lessons we've learned along the way... oh and sizes too. If you don't think women talk about sizes WE SURE DO! lol They didn't believe me about Asian men, but they don't date Asians... I do. haha

It was a great day. It's always nice to spend time with my girls. Especially over sushi and sake after a long work out.

SkyScrape and LMFAO related?

OK, so a few weeks ago Drea and I went to Jaycee's birthday pool party at The Standard in Downtown LA and the guys from LMFAO were there. If you're not familiar with LMFAO they sing the song "I'm in Miami Bitch". As soon as they walked in Drea and I looked at each other, laughed and said "Hey there goes SkyScrape!" We knew it wasn't the real SkyScrape from the TapouT Crew, but after a few Kir Royals it was pretty hilarious.

Jaycee introduced us to them and I said "Do you know you look like Skyscrape from the TapouT crew?", he said "Yes, we get that a lot" LOL.

Tell me they don't look alike? It's their similar humor, hair, and sunglasses that do it for me. They must be cousins or something lol.

Joey Karate My Favorite Funniest Guest on Our Yac & J's MMA and Boxing Show

I remember this day so clear. I just got back from UFC 86 in Minneapolis tired as shit and completely forgot that I had a show to do. I actually cooked chicken adobo that day and was bringing some over to my friend Jaycee (long story, he couldn't see and needed food lol) when in traffic I went to The Underground and found a thread titled "Joey Karate on thestream.tv". No shit! I can't believe I freakin' forgot I had a show to do. I guess from spending 14 hours in the airport from a missed flight and two flight delays I'm sure I wasn't all there the next day lol. Anyway, I told Jaycee to come outside so I can give him his food and quickly bounced to the studio. I was in Burbank, it was 7:35pm and the show started at 8:00pm in Hollywood. I booked it to the studio and made it on time.

Joey Coco Diaz aka "Joey Karate" was one of the funniest mutha fuckas we've ever had on our show. My cheek bones were tingly and my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. He is just so raw and doesn't give a fuck. When we were cuing him in to say "I'm Joey Coco Diaz and you're watching thestream.tv", his ass was like "Hey you lazy fucks, this is Joey Coco Diaz and you're watching thestream.tv" It was soooo funny. OMG, you have to watch the part in the show when we show him in his Karate outfit HAHAHA. That's why this archive is my favorite because it is FUCKING HILARIOUS!

Yac & J's MMA & Boxing Show - Joey Coco Diaz

Watch This Episode on www.theStream.tv

Yac & J's MMA and Boxing Show on The Stream.tv

The post show was even funnier. I wish it was archived too. Joey Diaz was saying all sorts of vulgar things to the people in the chat my stomach was hurting even more. Jaycee even tuned in to the show and signed in as 'imanobody' lol. I didn't know it was him until he told me to show my 'water pistols', which clearly gave it away. So to show him love I said 'DJ Jaycee J, Joseph Gettright is the best DJ in LA!' (Myspace.com/josephgettright) HAHAHA. Oh shit I laughed my ass off so hard. It was actually nice to have a friend, who doesn't follow the sport, tune into the show... thanks Jikka. :)

Ahhh oh the UG found www.missrara.com!

Underground thread: *www.missraracom-check it"

LOL! I've been linked on The Underground, www.MixedMartialArts.com! I haven't even had a chance to put all my Advertising Affiliates up yet. This site was such as last minute thing. Ask Tracy Lee. I literally put it together in one day and as I keep updating it I keep on wanting to add more and more lol.

Thanks CALunch for posting the thread. Sorry there are no nudes on my site. I don't have any! But I know the UG loves this booty pic for some odd apparent reason! I'm posting it for you! lol

There's a story that goes behind this picture and how it landed in the UG.

I never really took professional modeling photos until I started working in the MMA industry. This pic was taken for MMA Sports Magazine back in March. After the photo shoot I signed up for Model Mayhem and posted the pictures on my profile. Well back in April, there was a thread created in the Hawaii Underground forum called Ms RaRa nakkid TapOut Pics. Forum poster jjd and I were going back and forth because I had no Tap Out worthy pics. He asked for me to post a bikini picture but I was too shy to and because I Never Back Down (lol) I posted the picture from a tiny pic url on my Model Mayhem account really small to not show too much of my booty. Then jjd posted the picture in this thread: MISS RARA (posted by The Mouth, Primetime FC). Sure enough someone did their investigation and found my Model Mayhem account and posted the bigger picture of the booty on The Underground. Damn you, jjd! lol

Personally, I don't think my booty is even that big. I'm wearing 4 inch heels and from the way I'm turned the booty pops out. It's a picture guys! haha

Even after a while I still was too shy to have this picture out there. I didn't post it on my Myspace till the end of July so that I could get more hits on my Myspace to promote IMMAE ;) Oh you know my marketing antic worked! :)

I was too shy and embarrassed to have the photo out there because I come from a very conservative Filipino family. I didn't even get my first tattoo till three months ago and I'm 26 years old lol. I'm already embarrassed to post this picture on my site right now because I know my Mom and my Dad are gonna see it. AHHHH!!! (I love you Papa!) *hides*

Anyway, since the UG found www.missrara.com I made my site to where anyone can comment. So you don't HAVE to be a member to comment on my blogs. Anonymous users can comment too... that's for you trolls out there lol. But I thought it'd be nice to get familiar forum members interacting with my site and blogs.

Well... I'm off to bed.

Launched our new and improved IMMAE site and announced our next big show date!

I'm pretty excited. We've been working on the content and data for our new site since our last show and the new and improved IMMAE.tv is up and ready to go.

Check it out!
www.immae.tv

Also, our dates for our next big IMMAE show will be August 29th and 30th, 2009! Instead of planning six to four months in advance we plan on doing it twelve months in advance. We really want our show to get bigger each year. I can't wait!

My Strikeforce Rant

Errrrr! I'm very disappointed about the Strikeforce event at the Playboy Mansion last night. You think it'd be a lot of fun, but really it was pretty mediocure built with too much hype cause it was at the "Playboy Mansion". There were like a few hot ass playboy models, but not a lot. There is too much plastic surgery out there I couldn't believe my eyes. Chicks with circus waterballoon chi chis! lol There comes to a point where there is just too much and the chi chis I saw were redonkulous (a word I use). Not only that, the catered food wasn't all that. I got mushroom meat loaf, macaroni and cheese, spanish rice, and cornbread. And let me tell you, I kept going back for seconds on the cornbread a few times. :) The Playboy Mansion made it up by serving sushi, free drinks, and chocolate covered strawberries. :)

The whole show seemed as if it were for the show and not too much to the fighters or fans. I'm used to hearing fans chant names of fighters and the crowd going wild. This time it was different. Not all seats in the front few rows were filled.

Strikeforce @ The Playboy Mansion II: The Show
- combatlifestyle.com - CombatLifestyle Nightlife

I remember seeing Hugh Hefner walk out of the Playboy Mansion and into his seat at Strikeforce. He walked by soooooo slow. I felt really bad for him. In a matter of 45 minutes I seen him get escorted into the house twice because he probably had to go to the bathroom. He looked like such an old man I wondered if the Playboy bunnies are helping him take shits too. I'm serious! When he walked by all I kept thinking was, "Who's gonna be the next biggest Playboy pimp when he's gone?" He is definitely going to need a walker soon.

I did see him enjoy the fights though, so that was kinda cool. His Bunnies were talking to themselves and laughing. They didn't seem as if they were too much into the fight or Hugh... pshhhh I don't blame them! They were probably thinking 'I know you wanna get laid tonight, but I'm trying to get paid tonight' LOL.

But foreals... who is going to replace Hugh Hefner?
No one can really.

I wanted to see some good fights but I really couldn't because a lot of people were standing and mingling playing corporate during the fights, so it was quite distracting. All I saw was Terry Martin TKO his opponent and Josh Thompson TKO is opponent. Well, at least I had great conversations with the owners from Sherdog, they were sitting right next to us.

Because we were cold and weren't enjoying ourselves we left during the last fight. We were hungry and didn't want to eat the rest of the mansion food and headed to Sofitel and ate at Simons.

Chris Reilly, co-owner of Legends gym told Arianny and I that he always eats something before he comes to the mansion because of how bad the food is. Next time, I'm going to take his advice.

After the plenty of free drinks at the Playboy Mansion and desert at Simons, my ass went home and went to bed.

I woke up this morning with a sore throat aching to swallow. Boo! *thumbs down*

Whoa! My first blog!

I blame Ms. Tracy Lee for setting me up with this HAHA! First, I get closed on getting a blackberry, and then signing up for BeenUp2 (www.beenup2.com/users/missrara), now it's blogging and directing www.missrara.com to my blog site. GEEZ! THANKS TRACY! HAHA! I love her... you can visit her site at www.mstracylee.com.

Hrrrmmm... so this is what blogging is about. Post about some random blurbs, huh? Well, my first rant is that I'm tired and exhausted. My girls Drea, Arianny, and I went to the Dodgers Stadium last night to watch the LA Dodgers vs SF Giants. I think I was the only one in the skybox rooting for the Giants lol. It was fun, had a few drinks, and an infamous ballpark hot dog lol. Drea, Arianny, and I were being bad and sneaking in a few bites from someones red velvet cake when no one was looking haha. My highlight of the night was seeing this little kid dancing all crazy entertaining everyone. It was hilarious. Arianny video taped it. I'm hoping to post it in this blog soon. Anyway, Giants won 7 to 1... yay!

I was planning on heading to Highlands, but it got too late. I came home and passed the fuck out.

I woke up this morning and got a call from the Queen of Las Vegas and the woman behind Napkinnights.com and CombatLifestyle.com, one of my best friends, yes... Ms. Tracy Lee (hehe, I had to pimp out her intro), and she told me Travis Barker and DJ AM got into a plane crash and are in critical condition with severe burns. DAMN... that shit is crazy! Life is too short. It makes me think about all the friends I've known who have passed away throughout the years, and makes me grateful that I'm still here sharing my life with the friends and family that I still have with me.

After I hung up with Tracy I looked on my blackberry messenger and I seen that about 5 people already changed their names and status to pray for Travis Barker and DJ AM. With that said, a prayer goes out for the two. I really hope they make it.

Then, I got a blackberry message from my buddy George in Chicago. He told me that KJ Noons got stripped from his title with EliteXC. WTF? I quickly went to MMAJunkie.com and of course MixedMartialArts.com (The Underground) to read about it. Dang, it's true! They stripped KJ's title from him because he wouldn't take a rematch fight with Nick Diaz, and when approached to fight another opponent KJ still refused. WOW, I can't believe it.

Two big shockers for my Saturday morning rant.

I'm heading to the Playboy Mansion tonight for the Strikeforce event. Arianny and I will be there and of course Tracy Lee will be there too.

I guess from reading my blogs you'll get to hear plenty of things about me and what goes on in my life. My partying, working, and MMA life.

Enjoy!
