Halloween Costumes and the Lesbian Club Here
Yesterday, during the day, I spent the day sending out emails. IMMAE is still in planning for our 2009 event and I wanted to make sure things are going smooth with the potential sponsors we have on board and some exhibitors. Towards the evening Drea and I were trying to figure out what costume she was going to wear for Halloween. This was easy for Drea to not spend money on a costume because she makes EVERYTHING! This girl is known to make an outfit go from rags to riches lol. At first she found one of my long skirts and was trying to make a Greek goddess outfit... and it was cute! Then she found one of Amy's shirts (our other roommate) and made a dress out of it. She cut a few leaves from one of our fake plants, found some bobby pins, and stuck them in her hair. She wrapped one of my gold belts around her arm and sure enough in no time she created a cute sexy Halloween costume spending no money. Then I tried on my Halloween costume, a sexy flight attendant. I bought it from Fredrick's of Hollywood years ago and it's still cute! haha

I heard from JD yesterday via aim. He is in Brisbane, Australia now having a blast like always. I haven't talked to him since he drunk dialed me from Paris, France two weeks ago... and he didn't remember anything he said. It's true what they say right?, "The truth comes out when you're drunk". I wish I could use what he said against him, but it's way too pointless now. He wouldn't tell me these things in my face obviously cause he is very prideful and a Leo too. ;)
Drea was rehearsing in her Trashy Lingerie costume at home... it is sooooo cute! I can't wait for everyone to see her performance. I woke her up this morning and said "Good morning, Sunshine! Today is your big day... I'm so excited!", she said she is excited too. I soooo can't wait.
I was supposed to go to Les Deux yesterday with Jane. We kinda planned it on Tuesday but it was up in the air. I didn't end up going cause Jane wasn't too sure if she wanted to go out yet cause she had to plan for Vegas, Nolan was on his way to Vegas, Byron didn't call me back, and Jaycee was being a poop lol. So after about 10:00pm I knew I wasn't gonna go. Then at about 11PM Jane hit me up, she said she had to go to Club Here. I was kinda in shock because I didn't think Jane knew about Club Here, but shes never been there. It was her friends birthday and had to show up. I literally live less than a mile from the Club. Jane swooped me up on we were on our way to Club Here, the lesbian club in West Hollywood.
I haven't been to Club Here in a VERY long time, but I hit up my girl Jaime because I knew she always goes there. She wasn't going to go out but since I hit her and her homegirls hit her up too, sure enough she came out. I've known her since high school so we go waaaaay back. It's always nice to run into her with her 209 flava! lol

Jane, Jaime, and Me

After Club Here we all went to eat Thai food at Toi. Myron promotes Club Arena on Thursday night and met up with us to eat too. It's always good catching up with Myron. I've known him for years too.
I had a very fun Thursday night. I CANT WAIT FOR TONIGHT!

DREA IS ABOUT TO BE ON E! ENTERTAINMENT!!!!
GYEAH! You read that right. My best friend, Drea, is going to be featured on E! Entertainment this weekend. Drea is a Trashy Lingerie model and the lead singer in the NEW Trashy Lingerie Burlesque troop known as The Trashy Girls. They are making their debut on Halloween night at Club Kress in Hollywood.
Yesterday, after Drea and I worked out and hiked up Runyon Canyon she received the call with the news. Right away we went straight to Kura Sushi to celebrate with some sake. Apparently, E! Entertainment is going to interview her in regards to the new Trashy Girls and show their performance on national television. How freakin' cool is that!
Ever since Drea and I met and became best friends in choir class in high school, I always knew she was gonna be in a star. She has worked so hard for this. Her body is in amazing shape, her dancing is on point, and her singing is the fucking shit! Everyone and their mama is going to be blown away. I seen her lingerie outfit she is wearing for their performance and it is HOT! I wanted to BeenUp2 a picture with her in it, but then I thought I'd wait for everyone to see it.... it's super sexy!
I'm gonna try to record everything I can with my camera, but there's gonna be cameras everywhere. I want to video tape it for my first video blog but my camera only records up to one minute. I gotta find a friend who would let me borrow their video camera for the night. Dammit!
Anyway, I'm super duper excited and can't wait for tomorrow. I know I'm probably gonna have tears in my eyes because I know her career is going to take off and this is something she has been working for... this is her dream!
So make sure you all keep your eyes peeled on E! Entertainment this weekend. YAY!

My Tuesday Night at Club Central
Jane hit me up earlier yesterday and asked if I wanted to go out to Club Central, and of course I was down. Our boy Allen was promoting the private party.

I knew I should have worn tennis shoes so that I can get my dance on, but I wore heels cause Jane was wearing heels. It was torture seeing a dance circle and not being able to go in because I had heels on. Sure enough, I took my 5 inch heels off and was dancing in the circle. Dancing is my free time, my ME time... and after my fun ass weekend in Chicago it was definitely something I needed to ice the topping on the cake. The well known dancer Crazy Legs was there from the Rock Steady crew and gave me my props and encouraged me to go into the circle more, but honestly, I was kinda intimidated because he was there lol. By the time I looked at my feet they were black! haha
For some reason I always run into Apl from Black Eyed Peas at some random place and it's always at a place where there are hella Filipinos haha. But we said Hi and caught up real quick. I think the last time I was him was in Vegas at Manny Pacquiao's last fight.
The night was fun. It was nice hanging out with my friends and even running into friends too; Jane, Allen, Nolan, Byron, Ryan, Turbulence, Samantha, Apl, Jaycee, Q, Mel... and if I forgot to mention your name, my bad. lol
Jane, Me, and Allen

Me and Sam... I love her hair!

Me, Apl, and Jane

Me and Jaycee. Jikka is back from Taiwan. LMAO at his face!

My UFC 90 trip to Chicago was so much fun!
First off, I would like to thank Beth and Jake Nuesser (the owner's of Fight Chix) for their hospitality. I had an awesome time with them and in Chicago!
I can go on and on with stories that happened over the weekend, but honestly I'm just too lazy to type them out right now.
UFC 90 was good granted it wasn't what the fans wanted to see. But at least we got to see a great up and coming fighter like Junior dos Santos knock out Fabricio Werdum and Sean Sherk and Tyson Griffin throw down for three rounds. Everyone was upset with the outcome of the Silva vs Cote fight, but when we were in the limo ride on our way to the club Hermes Franca and Dean Lister pointed something out to me. Hermes goes "Rara, I understand where Anderson is coming from. No one knows what it's like to be a fighter, with all the stress we got to go through to cut weight and put on a show for our fans." Then Dean elaborated on Anderson going back and forth on weight classes. Plus, they got to train everyday, maintain a family, pay their bills, maintain the media, etc.
I never really thought about that. I took a step back and looked at myself. Most of you may not know this but I've gained some weight and I'm trying to lose it, but it's been rough. I got to watch what I eat and try to find time to work out during my busy working day. But I couldn't imagine what it's like to be a fighter and and cut 15 lbs and then gain it back... I'd be stressed like a mutha fucka!
I have faith in Anderson and he is gonna come back harder than ever his next fight! :)

Our after party was so much fun, especially with unlimited bottle service lol. Minus all the drama that went down trying to get to the club, we all had a great time! The people at Club Level treated us well. Fabricio Werdum didn't even show up to his own afterparty. I wouldn't want to party if I was him too... He got knocked the fuck out! lol It was a big win for Ed Soares and his team. I was very happy for them and at the same time I was sad that Werdum lost cause Fight Chix sponsored him.
Anyway, I can go on and on about how much fun I had this weekend but then I'd be typing a novel. It was so nice to see all of my friends from Chitown. I even had the chance to visit my Auntie Marmi (my Mom's first cousin). I was so happy to see Auntie Marmi and her family. I know it made my mom happy and my Lola proud. I love my family.
Yesterday my flight was booked to depart at 6:40pm and to arrive in LA at 9pm. There was no way I could have taken that flight because we had to film our show, MMA with Yac and J at 7PM. I had my uncle drop me off at the airport at 12:30pm to see if I could catch a flight standby... and sure enough I DID!
I was writing my script on the airplane ride home and made it in time to the studio. I think I'm getting this teleprompter stuff down. LOL! I'll post the show on my site on Wednesday. You can also tune into brawlerstv.com to watch it too.
Well happy Tuesday!

My Friday night of partying in Chitown!
Last night was soooo much fun!
We went to the Maple Avenue Pub aka MAP and had a few drinks. Beth and Jake knew everyone at the bar so we pretty much got hooked up all night. It was nice to meet their friends. It was Loverboy Night at MAP which means there were men stripping all night for the ladies. Although I didn't bother getting a lap dance, it was quite interesting to watch men walking around in their underwear waiting for women to tip them. I found myself helping Trever (Beth's brother) sell his shots while he was in his boxers lol. The faster he sold his shots the faster we were on our way to Spybar to celebrate CombatLifestyle's One Year Anniversary with Tracy Lee.
We had a blast! I was so excited to see everyone there. Mike Pyle was there and it's always so nice to party with him. He just knows how to have a good time. A bunch of fighters were there. I was really happy to see Tracy Lee and I'm proud of her and all of her accomplishments. I've been there since it first launched and seen her struggles to success. She is definitely one of the hardest working women I know. CONGRATS TRACE!
Here are some pics... Don't forget to view the rest of the album!

My First Segment with MMA With Yac & J
OK, so this was my first time. I know I missed a few words here and there and I even fobbed out when I said "pound for pound", but what the heck it was my first time. Now I know what to expect and what to do the next time. Plus, I didn't write the first half of the segment. I wrote the last half as you could tell... more of my personality came out during the end.
Soooooooo here it is! :)
Please feel free to comment on my blog as ANYONE can and let me know what you think of our new production. Cool huh?

I got laid by Clay Guida... partying in Chitown!
I had THE most fun yesterday.
My plane ride the most interesting of all. When I was on my way from Las Vegas to Chicago I was sitting next to one of the sweetest 67 year old ladies I've ever met, Janet. I just had the greatest conversation with her. I was wondering why she was so cool until I found out we shared the same birthday LOL. How often do you find someone with the same birthday as you? She had such a real great presence and good energy. Then I asked her what her husbands sign was and sure enough her husband had the same birthday as my Mom! Now how ironic is that? Wtf is going on here? lol
When it was time to get off the plane I got out of my seat and guess who the fuck was sitting right behind me? RANDY mutha fuckin' COUTURE! The whole entire time I am sitting telling 67 year old Janet about the wonderful sport of MMA, and the mutha fuckin' champ was sitting right behind me the whole time!!! I was in complete shock and BeenUp2'ed Me and Randy.

I had a quick conversation with Randy. He asked me what brand I was wearing and I turned around and showed him my Fight Chix logo on the back of my jacket. Then I told him about our Fight Chix afterparty and told him that we are probably going to head to Club Moda afterward. Club Moda is where Randy is having his afterparty, and he goes "Oh, I have no idea where we're going. My wife is the one who set all that up." LOL Go Kim! :)
Jake picked me up from the airport and we headed straight to his house to meet with Beth. I was super excited cause I've always wanted to meet their kids since I always hear about them. The minute I walked in her son Jase got all shy, but just the other day Beth put him on the phone and he goes "Rara my girlfriend" LOL. He was such a cutie. Then Beth's daughter Justyne grabs my hand and takes me straight to her room to show me the picture of me hanging in her room. She was excited I was there and as Beth says she is my 'biggest fan' HAHA! It was so nice to finally meet their kids.

We grabbed dinner, got ready, and headed straight to downtown Chicago. I don't know how many times I have to say this, but I LOVE CHICAGO! It kinda reminded me of San Francisco cause it was the city and it was cold outside... but Chicago is WAY better than Frisco, IMO. We made plans to meet up with everyone at Club 720 for some salsa dancing but before we went there we stopped by Club Level to drop off some Fight Chix gear for our party on Saturday. As soon as we got to Club 720 Georgie Pooh, Ramy, Shamori, and the infamous Shonie Carter were there. YAY! I was so happy to see them. Next thing you know, here comes Tracy Lee with Miguel Torres. Awwww snaps... my salsa buddy arrived. Miguel and I had a lot of fun salsa dancing... freakin' A... I love salsa dancing! Then it was Shonie's turn. Shonie can salsa with a little big of gangsta twist. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun!
Then we walked over to another club called Enclave. We were there for a little bit and when Clay Guida and Cole Miller got there we were ready to hit up another club. Tracy and I got layed by Clay Guida! HAHA! So funny to say. He just came back from Hawaii and gave Tracy and I lays. See, I told yall Clay was a sweetheart!

Anyway, we grabbed everyone and headed straight to Club Level. As soon as we got there they comped us a table and it was on! Cole Miller, Miguel, and I were comparing elbows. Who had the sharpest one? HAHA Can you tell whose is whose? LOL!

We got home at 4AM and had such a blast!. I wish the clubs in LA closed at 4AM dammit! I soooooo can't wait for tonight and tomorrow night. Tonight we are celebrating CombatLifestyle.com's One Year Anniversary with Tracy Lee at Spybar, and tomorrow night is our Fight Chix Afterparty at Club Level.
GYEAH! RARA LOVES HER SOME CHITOWN! :)

Flying to Chitown!
I woke up at 5AM today. I don't know how or why because I was super hammered from drinking Sake with Drea last night. I freakin drunk BBMed Jaycee last night. This morning I looked at my messages and was like wtf was I talking about lol (Sorry Jikka haha). I think I woke up so early because of my excitement for this weekend. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't because the news was on. The 405 Freeway was closed because there was a brush fire near the Sepulveda and the Getty's Center. It kept me up for a little bit then I went back to sleep. I had the most interesting sexual dream for like 5 mins haha then woke up. wtf? LoL
Drea took me to the airport. I woke her up at 6:30am so we can get on the road at 7am. I didn't want to engage into the early morning traffic especially since the 405 was shut down. By the time we got on the road we didn't encounter too much traffic. Thank God. I didn't wanna miss my flight and then be stuck in the airport for 14 hours like my last trip to Minneapolis for the UFC.
Anyway, I'm at the airport right now flying U.S. Airways. I couldn't believe it cost me $15 to check one bag in. I was like wtf? I've never had to pay to check in a bag, let alone $15 for just ONE bag lol. Our economy is so fucked up the passengers have to pay to check in their bags... Damn! I pray things start to change after the election.
Well, I'm off to Vegas and then Chicago cause I took a connecting flight. I'm sorry I won't be able to do my Daily Pics and Video today. I don't know how religious I'll be to that this weekend but if you stay tuned to my site, I promise you'll be reading some good stories. I'm blogging from my Blackberry and I'll try to do my best to blog as much as possible. :)

I don't know how religious I'll be to that this weekend but if you stay tuned to my site, I promise you'll be reading some good stories. I'm blogging from my Blackberry and I'll try to do my best to blog as much as possible. :)

I'm just way too excited for Chicago this weekend!
I absolutely love Chicago! Every time I go there I have an awesome time. I just think the city is beautiful and the people are great. The last few times I went to Chicago I went there for my brother's graduation and also the Primetime Fighting Championships. Tracy and I had a blast touring Chicago in 3 hours. I have no idea how we hit up every tourist spot, but we sure did. If you ever need a buddy to go any where in the U.S., Tracy is definitely the one you need to be with. Even though I haven't really talked to her much the past few weeks, I'm really excited to see her.

My flight leaves early tomorrow morning and I arrive in Chicago in the afternoon. Jake and Beth are going to pick me up and we're going to get something to eat. Then we are going to hit up Club 720 for some salsa dancing! YES! When I was in Chicago, Shonie Carter and I got down with the get down on the salsa dance floor. We danced and sweated our asses off. The last time I saw Miguel Torres was the weekend of UFC 86. While we were pre-partying we were definitely getting down on some salsa dancing. He leads really well and I enjoyed dancing with him a lot. I hit him up to let him know I was coming to Chicago for UFC 86 and right away we started to make plans to go to the salsa club. Next thing you know I invite Shonie Carter, then Tracy Lee, then Arianny Celeste, then Beth and Jake, then Georgie Pooh and Ramy, to all the Chicago UGers lol. I even called Clay Guida too. He said he isn't much of a salsa dancer, but since everyone is going and I'm in town he is definitely going to party with us. I love Clay, he is such a great friend. I'm still trying to find a salsa dress to wear. I'd wear the same red dress I wore for Fight! Magazine's Anniversary party, but Miguel Torres already seen me in that. If you're a girl you know what I'm talking about lol. And it's not that I'm trying to hook up with Miguel... it's just a girl thing LOL.
Friday night we are all heading to Spy Bar to celebrate CombatLifestyle's 1 Year Anniversary with Tracy Lee. I know we are all going to have a great time. Then on Saturday of course it's the night of UFC 90, I'm am hosting Fight Chix's UFC 90 party at Club Level and we're Celebrating Beth's Birthday YAY!

This weekend is about to be off the chains!!!! I can't wait to salsa dance and party with all of my friends in Chicago! WHOOOO HOOOO! :)

Our first MMA with Yac & J Show taping and EliteXC goes under
We had our first taping with our new network and new studio yesterday. The MMA with Yac & J Show is back!!! Unfortunately, we are no longer with thestream.tv and parted ways. But doesn't mean that I still don't have love for Brian Gramo, because he is awesome.
Anyway, I was super happy that our new studio is right around the corner from Bahay Kubo, the Filipino restaurant that Nolan introduced me to and I've been going there religiously all week. So that was a plus. Our new studio was so high tech I found myself practicing how to read from a prompter lol.

Then next thing you know here comes Conor Heun walking in the studio. YAY! I was so excited to see Conor. I haven't heard from him since I text him Congrats on his last fight with EliteXC. Then he goes "Ey RARA, you hear about EliteXC?". Conor broke to me the news that EliteXC is going out of business. I hurried up and rushed to The Ungerground as soon as I could from my Blackberry, and sure enough it was all over the UG. FUCKING ELITEXC IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! This is fucking NUTS! What the fuck is going to happen to Kimbo Slice, Nick Diaz, Jake Shields, Gina Carano ets. Most of all, WTF is going to happen to Women's MMA? That's one good thing that EliteXC brought to the table. They brought Women's MMA into the public eye. Maaannnn... I was so looking forward to Gina Carano's fight versus Cyborg. *sigh*
In my MMA's Corner segment I made sure I spoke about EliteXC going out of business. Next show I am going to make sure I go over is Women's MMA. Where is it going to be televised now? I was reading a few threads on the UG and people are hoping the WEC picks up Women's MMA since they already dropped the 185 lb weight class. I really hope a good organization like Zuffa starts to publicize Women's MMA. Dana White is already Jesus to MMA. If he makes this happen he will be God to MMA.
Gosh I'm still in shock about EliteXC...

Proof Urijah Faber and the guys at Ultimate Fitness are PIMPS! lol
I was searching YouTube and found this video of Urijah Faber and the guys at Ultimate Fitness at The Park in Sacramento, CA. The Park is the best night club in Sacramento. In the beginning of the video you see Urijah shaking Donnie's hand, and Donnie is the manager of the club, which ironically is my sisters ex-fiance. Small world, right?
The best part was how the editor put Tracy's CombatLifestyle logo in the beginning of the video... that was dope!
Anyway, I found this video quite funny and entertaining because I've got a chance to hang out the guys from Ultimate Fitness and party with them too. Virgil is the best! HAHA! I love how Urijah was like "This is my best friend in the whole wide world" and the chick goes "Hi best friend". HAHA! But this video PROVES that they are pimps and just living the life... just as Urijah states in the video. At 7.22 in the video Urijah says "I love Stockton Bitches!" HAHA. He always says that to Drea and I LOL.
Check out Urijah being the biggest pimp in "SacraMACramento"

UFC 89: My heart broke
Yesterday I watched a live stream of UFC 89 because it was in Birmingham, England. There was no way I was going to wait till the fights aired our time. So Drea and I spent the afternoon watching the fights on our computer :)
Anyway, I'm so sad Brandon Vera lost his fight. I know how hard he has trained and mentally prepared he was. He really needed this win. :( Errrrrr and I can't stand going to the UG right now, because I hate reading all the negative things people are saying about Brandon. The truth is that it's not over with B. He is not gonna give up and is going to continue to fight.
You should have seen me jumping up and down in my living room when Brandon came out with his Filipino flag TapouT shorts to Black Eyed Peas "Bebot" song. He makes us so proud. And even though he did lose his fight, we are still proud of him. He is Pinoy and represents hard for us. I have every bit of faith in him and I know our Filipino brothers and sisters to too.
My UFC 89 rant:
Bisping vs Leben
It landed in a decision and there you have Bisping winning in his hometown again. Drea and I were looking at each other like wtf when Leben just let Bisping hit him at the end of round three lol. I really enjoyed hearing what Leben had to say after the fight. You could totally tell that he has changed and matured a lot since his TUF days. I also thought it was cute Bisping brought his son in the cage with him and they showed his son giving him a front kick.
Jardine vs Vera
*sigh* I don't wanna talk about it. :(
Sokoudjou vs Cane
Sokoudjou tired out. Dan Henderson was telling him to take him down and he didn't. I really wanted Sokoudjou to win too. That was my first disappointment of the night.
Taylor vs Lytle
It wasn't the Light's Out Lytle this time. I was kinda hoping Taylor would win for his fans in the crowd but never the less it ended in a unanimous decision. I blackberry messaged Chad from Toe2Toe as soon as I saw the Toe2Toe banner in Taylor's corner.
Kelly vs Davis
Well at least we got some good action in the beginning of UFC 89 and this one didn't end in a decision. Good submission by Davis.
This UFC was kinda ehhh. My heart broke when Brandon lost and everyone I wanted to win lost. BOO! :(
At least Dan Hardy won. He fought on the Undercard. We had him as a guest on our show and he also trains with Eddie. He at least saved my night with a happy win even thought I didn't get to watch the fight.
Now I just can't wait for UFC 90 in Chicago. I'm soooo excited to go and not only that, I get to watch my favorite fighter Anderson Silva fight in the octagon again. WHOOOO HOOOOO!

Carson Kressley
Yesterday I was in the audience for the Carson Kressley show. He is one funny gay ass guy. I laughed my ass off so much. Allison Sweeney was the guest of the show. She plays Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives. She was pregnant and made an awesome guest on the show. Then he had some Australian pet guy come on the show and brought a snake and kangaroo. It was hilarious when Carson grabs the snake. He is such a girl. Anyway, I give Carson a lot of credit. It was the taping of his first show and it went really well.

My Thursday...
After all my Filipino food cravings I finally finished my Kare Kare, Lechon, and Bangus yesterday lol. My whole place smells like fish. Drea had to bust out with the Febreeze LOL.
I didn't do much yesterday but just work. Then Byron hit me up. We made plans to hit up Kura Sushi and then Les Deux.
Then JD drunk dialed me from Paris, France. It was 5AM his time and I do have to say I was quite entertained when he slurred "I don't care if this call costs me $1.25 a minute... I just had to call you" and then started speaking jibberish and then Spanish to the french bell boy. If you know JD it was pure comedy. He is infamous for saying the craziest things when he is half asleep and intoxicated.
Anyway, Byron swoopped me up at 10AM and we hit up Kura Sushi for a seared Albacore Special and sake.
At Les Deux Jane Doe was performing accompanied by C-Bo and Jack Asses Steve-O. I was actually a little star struck when I saw C-Bo because you know C-Bo's 151 Code of the Street is one of my favorite cds and I still play it in my car from time to time. :)
After her performance I was dead exhausted. I went home at 1am and knocked the fuck out.
TGIF!

Come party with me and Fight Chix at UFC 90 in Chicago!
YAY! I'm so excited to go to Chicago. I absolutely love that city. Plus, I have so many friends out there too. Clay Guida and Georgie Pooh promised me sushi lol. Miguel Torres and Shonie Carter promised me a salsa dance haha. Not only that, we get to celebrate Elisabeth's birthday too. She is an absolute sweetheart. I can't wait to party with her... *edited* and Jake too! ;)

I know that by the time it's time to go I'm not gonna wanna leave.
I'm so excited!
I know that by the time it's time to go I'm not gonna wanna leave.
I'm so excited!
Drea had to check my ass
That's what best friends are for.
Drea had to let me know that I've been filled with a lot of negative energy for the past few months. It was a serious deep conversation. Sometimes I don't realize that people feel uncomfortable from my actions and it's only because I'm secure with my self and very comfortable in my own skin like when I dance around and pop my booty lol. But she was right. There has been a lot of negative things that I've done lately. For example, I kicked some girls ass at Les Deux last week. I know I shouldn't have but she was drunk and said a few things, I was intoxicated too, but anyway I knocked her out and I shouldn't have. She was an innocent drunk white girl who probably woke up the next day not knowing what happened. Me on the other hand, a few months ago I probably wouldn't have done shit and let the girl just go, but because I have a lot of anger in me I just let loose on her. Drinking shouldn't be my excuse, I should know better. If I ever see her again I'd apologize to her.
Anyway, I know exactly what it is that has been causing me to act this way. Ever since JD and I started or tried to be friends again I've been filled with this negative energy. And don't get me wrong, it's not all him. It's stress that goes down with IMMAE too, but he definitely takes a toll on me. He may have hit me up last week and said he was sorry for being an asshole and he loves me and adores me dearly, but that don't mean shit. No matter how much we care, him and I have a lot of hatred towards each other. He still has the same issues he has had since we broke up. The reason why we broke up was so he could find time to himself to fix them, but they are obviously still there. I hope he figures them out one day. I know I won't be there for it.
I'm going to make a change cause there is no way I am going to let my anger towards him affect my actions and jeopardize the friendships that I've already created. I really need to learn my lesson and I've already started to make the changes.
*flexes*
I love Drea for keepin' it real with me.

I didn't realize Brandon Vera was that big in the Philippines
Since I've been on this Filipino food craving for the past few days. I called my pare, Nolan to grab some grub again. Next thing you know Nolan, Knowa (who by the way is a well known Pinoy rapper.. I gotta plug him), Ryan, and I were on our way to Pinoy Pinay in the Valley.
As I was walking through the convenient store I saw this shirt and it's made by the Philippine All Stars, which is a HUGE celebrity dance crew in the Philippines. They are our Jabawockeez in a sense. The shirt lists names of influential celebrities in the Filipino Hip Hop culture. I thought it was pretty dope Brandon's name was on the shirt. Not only was Brandon's name on it, but Billy Crawford's name was on it too. I met Billy and his wife Maryss through JD as soon as I moved to LA years ago. At that time I didn't know it but Billy is like the Justin Timberlake of the Philippines lol. I still keep in touch with them from time to time too. The last time I was them was a few months ago at Billy's birthday party. I hope they are doing well.

Anyway, As soon as I BeenUp2'ed the photo I text it to Billy and then emailed the photo to Ed Clay. Ed is in England helping Brandon train for his fight this weekend. He responded back and laughed at it and told me Brandon said Hi too and we all gotta hit up Vegas again. Vegas with Ed Clay, Brandon and Kerry Vera is like a vacation times 10 LOL. I miss them and I can't wait to party with them after Brandon whoops Keith Jardine's butt this weekend. I'm gonna have to remind Brandon to bring his fun ass sister Michelle and of course his cutie brother Joel too hehe ;)
I found this YouTube video of Brandon Vera today.
He talks about how proud of a Pinoy he is. I love and respect Brandon so much for truly representing our culture. He is very humble, true to his wife, loves his family, and loves Filipino food lol.
I remember last year when I asked Brandon to come to our NAMMAE show. He said "Heck yeah I'll come... Filipino pride baby!", meaning because I was pinay and putting the event together he was gonna come through and show me some love. That's just the type of friend he is. It's kababayan all day everyday with Brandon. I wish everyone got to know him personally. They weren't lying when they called him "The Truth!" HAHA.
I sooooo can't wait for the UFC in the Philippines too. I really hope I can plan an IMMAE event that weekend. I would love to show my people how great of a sport MMA really is. All Filipinos love boxing... they are gonna definitely love MMA even more after the UFC is there... plus an IMMAE too hehe *crosses fingers* ;)
Anyway, I'm off to Bahay Kubo for some Kare Kare again lol...

Please pray for my co-host, friend, and known MMA reporter Ron Yacovetti aka The Yac Man
I just got a call from our other co-host Randy Johnson aka Randy J, who told me that we have to cancel our show tonight because Ron Yacovetti's home is in danger from the Southern California fires. Our show got picked up by another network and we were going to shoot our first show at 7pm today, but due to Ron's situation we won't be able to film tonight. His family is now getting evacuated from their home. (KTLA Article - Fire Forces Evacuation in Porter Ranch)
Ron is a comedian and has spent the past few years as a reporter for ProElite.com. He has a tremendous amount of passion for the sport and is an awesome friend.
With that being said, please support my friend Ron Yacovetti aka The Yac Man and say a prayer for him and his family. I believe in the power of prayer and I pray to God that his family doesn't lose their home.
Me, The Yac Man, Gina Carano, and Randy J

Gutom na ako! Soooo not fair!
*sigh*
So I go to The Underground and there is a thread titled Phillipe Nover is Filipino. For some reason, every time there is a thread on the UG in regards to Filipinos it always ends up in talking about Filipino food... so like our culture, right? Freakin' Quik posted pictures from the Philippines and Lechon!
Check this Lechon out!

If you're not Filipino you may not understand or it just may look disgusting to you, but to me, right now that Lechon is pure gold! HAHA!
What sucks is that there is no Filipino restaurants near me. Seafood City, Goldilocks, Pinoy Pinay, etc they are all about a 20 minute drive. Plus it's 10PM right now. Errrrrrrr! If we were in the Bay I'd sooooo head out to Lucky Chances right now. I wish there was one here in LA. :(
And don't get it twisted, I love to cook. Right now it's late and I'm hungry.
*sigh* At times like this I miss my Mama! Her Kare Kare is off the chains!!!
In the mist of all my Filipino food cravings. I text my friend, Paul, who lives out here and is Filipino. I asked him if he knew of any Filipino restaurants open this late. Unfortunately, there is isn't. So we made plans to grab Barrio Fiesta in Eagle Rock tomorrow. I normally go to Max's in Glendale so I'm pretty excited to try some place new.
Looks like I'll have to settle for Top Ramen with Sinagang mix. For now, it still doesn't satisfy my hunger. Gutom na ako!

Holy Schnapps! Dana White lashes out on EliteXC
WOW! I just now got to a computer, logged into the UG, and saw this YouTube video of Dana White unleashing the beast on EliteXC. Kimbo came from nothing to something. He is an online internet star who then turned into a celebrity. It comes to this, EliteXC is on CBS. The people who are going to be entertained are the people who want to see a legitimate fight... something with a story. The average Joe wants to be able to connect to the fighter. That's why EliteXC promotes Kimbo so much... if you don't think it's about money - It's about money. I don't care what anyone says... it's always about the money!
Not going to Arizona :(
IMMAE licensed out its name to a promoter in Arizona and the event is this weekend. My Partner Brian and I were supposed to go out there yesterday, but I just had so much work to do I couldn't find the time to leave. :(
I really wanted to see some friends out there too.
*sigh* Boo! *thumbs down*

Mistah Clay to the rescue!
Gosh I love Ed Clay!

Ed Clay, the owner of Gameness, is one of my best friends. Hands down the most youngest successful millionaire gangster white boy I know... and he is from Cashville, Tennessee. If you don't know who Ed Clay is you're missing out on such a great person.
I just got off the phone with him. He is in Birmingham England right now helping train Brandon Vera for his fight next weekend. Even though Ed lives on the East Coast, we still talk at least once a week. He texted me that he was in England and wanted to say Hi and to see how I was doing. I told him that I was having a bad day and he asked for me to call him. As soon as we were done with our conversation he was like, "Tam, I'd love to stay and talk with you longer but it's costing me $.99 cents per minute. I wanted to talk to you and cheer you up since you said you were having a bad day". Awwwwwww isn't that sweet of him. See, that's what best friends are for. Whenever I need Ed he is always there to motivate me to be a better person and also motivate me into getting my work done.
Ed told me this...
Basically everyone wants to focus on what they're doing... I'm doing this or I'm doing that. What we should really be focusing on is getting shit done. I don't care what you're doing. What have you got done? When we focus on the principle it allows us to get more done and do less. It also makes us realize we're doing doesn't mean shit till we get it done.
Now tell me that ain't some shit! Everyone and their Mama can relate to that, and it's true. I need to start focusing on getting more shit done. I am working on a few things in regards to IMMAE and it's taking some time. I just gotta focus and channel my energy into my work getting done. Deals closed. Meetings met. Quotas beat.
I'm ready!
Gosh I love him! I wish he didn't have to live so far away. If he lived in LA we'd probably be making a lot of money partying every day haha.
I am very thankful for my Mistah Clay. The Lord definitely blessed Drea and I with his friendship. I'd like to thank Eddie Bravo for introducing us to him... so Thanks Bizzle! HAHA

Blah
I feel like Blah today.
I'm sore cause I took dance class again last night. JD was there haha. It's not a big deal but I thought it was funny. Even though I had an hour and a half long conversation with him the night before, I still felt awkward being around him and our mutual friends. It's weird cause we are friends, but we're really not. It's a good thing he is leaving back on tour next week with Chris Brown so we don't have to argue as much lol. Sometimes I feel like punching him and I'm sure he feels that same way about me haha.
Anyway, after dance class Drea and I rushed home to get ready. I had to do everything that I possible could do to get Christina to come out with us and sure enough she did. That's my girl! Karen came over and when Christina was on her way she picked up some Vodka and Red Bull and we were on our way to Les Deux.

I had a good time with my girls. The club was kinda slow. Afterward, Christina and I went to Wendy's and got some food. The freakin' guy didn't give us our change back so we had to go all the way back into the drive thru line and back to the window to get it haha.
I was intoxicated...
Manny Gamburyan just called we're about to go have brunch right now.

YearbookYourself.com
OMG! Yesterday me and my cousins and a few of my friends from Stockton got a kick out of www.yearbookyourself.com. Just about all of our primary pictures on Myspace had a YearbookYourself photo.
Here are mine:

LMAO!
I enjoyed YearbookYourself.com so much I posted a thread about it in the OG, LOL YearbookYourself.com Pic. And most of you know I'm a UG girl... but YearbookYourself had me laughing soooo hard I had to share it with the OG

The one time I take a dance class, his ass is there!
I finally took a Hip Hop dance class after a year yesterday lol. For the longest time now, Christina and Sho-tyme have always been telling me to come take Sho's class. Christina is his choreographers assistant and is a really close friend of mine. We're like this *crosses fingers*. You could tell by my BeenUp2 lol.

One of the reasons why I stayed away from the dance world is because my ex-boyfriend, JD is a dancer... one of Chris Brown's dancers actually. We have a lot of mutual friends and I was always real adamant about going to the dance studios, dance events, and anything dance related because I refused to see his Korean ass or even be reminded about him. I didn't even watch MTV, BET, listened to the radio, or even went to the clubs in LA for the longest time until recently. JD and I broke up a long time ago and were together for two years and some change. I'd say from January to June we damn near hated each other and since June we started to be friends again... well we tried and we're still trying haha. We've been in each others lives for almost 4 years and when you have that much history with someone it just seems harder to be friends because you know it's not going to work out but you care about the person etc. Yall know how it is... don't lie! haha
Anyway, back to my story...
Christina called me to remind me that Sho's class starts at 7pm. I was like 'Alright, I'll be there this time'. I put on a razor back tank my Fight Chix yoga pants and hat and I was out the door. Five minutes later Christina calls me and was like "JD is here"... Great! The one time I decide to take dance class his ass is there. Just my luck.
Five minutes later Christina BBMs me and says he isn't gonna be here for long cause he was picking up some music from Sho. Whew! Thank God cause I was about to turn around and head back home lol jk I wasn't.
It would have been interesting running into him. I haven't seen JD since we had Pho a few weeks ago and while we were play fighting I accidentally called him 'Jaycee' lol. He was mad. If I was him I'd be mad too, but can you blame me? Their names are one letter apart and rhyme HAHA!
Anyway, I text him and told him I was on my way to class and heard he was there. I wanted to know if he was still there cause he knows I will not take class if he is there. He text back and said he wasn't gonna be there for long cause he had to be in Hollywood at 7:30. I told him I was running late and we'll probably miss each other. As soon as I pulled up he called me and said that he just left. We just missed each other.
I walked into class and some of our friends were like 'hey, you just missed JD'. I'm like 'yeah, I know' lol. JD told me that I was gonna sweat a lot in Sho's class and sure enough I did. It was a great class... nothing but just grooving. I didn't realize how much I missed it until Sho told us to freestyle. Then my personality started to show and I felt more me. Go Rara go Rara go go go go go Rara! HAHA

The UG is going Nuts!
After EliteXC the UG has been quite an MMA party lol. So many threads in regards to Kimbo and his somewhat lost career, Seth Petruzelli getting paid 6 figures to not take Kimbo to the floor, Jared 'Skala' Shaw "ruining" MMA, Brandon Vera and Irvin being held at gun point, and Train Judo showing his soft side... WTF is going on here? lol
The most legitimate thread out of the whole UG right now in regards to EliteXC is Joe Rogan's post:
The worst stand up ever
Big Country had Arlovski in fucking side control working on a kimura and he got stood up.
My jaw dropped.
Shit like that is ruining the sport.
Once Joe posted that the thread took off like a jack rabbit on crack.
There are so many people hating on Jared "Skala" Shaw too. He is the Vice President of EliteXC and is getting way too much heat for this last show. Personally, I like Skala... he is a cool muther fucker. It sucks seeing so much hatred towards him when he loves the sport and is trying to run business... but hey, haters come a long with the territory so it's bound to happen.
OMG and Train Judo's I'm sorry for being a fool thread totally has to be a troll job. Train Judo is one of my trolls on the UG and to see a softer side come out of him seems quite odd. I'm very skeptical and wonder how long it will last. If it's not a troll job, I'd hug him and give him a kiss just to say in an Asian accent "Me love you long time" HAHA!
TTT for this weeks MMA in the UG! :)

My Stockton 209 weekend!
Finally... Time to write a blog lol.
Right now I'm sitting at the Sacramento airport waiting for my flight back to LA blogging from my blackberry... :)
I had an awesome weekend with my family. There's nothing like family time that always soothes my soul.
My brother picked me up in LA and we drove to Stockton together. We got in at 12:30am and went straight to the Club Chitivas where New Era was hosting a birthday party for my cousin Darleen. If you guys don't know this by now, I love to go out and party... And every time I party in Stockton it just brings me back. I see familiar faces from all the way back to middle school showing me love and pictures of their kids. Its crazy how time flies.
The minute I got to Chitivas I text message my best friend Melissa to let her know I was there. She was running the door and I couldn't wait to see her because she is pregnant again with her third child. I wanted to see her and her belly. Her first son Michael will be 9 in February and her second son will be 2 this November... I was hoping she was going to have a girl but on her third try she is having another boy. She makes the cutest kids and is an amazing mother. I've been at the hospital when both of her sons were born I can't wait to be there when her third boy is born.
Darn it. The plane is about to take off. I'll finish this blog when I get home.
To be continued...

No shit! Nate Diaz vs. Clay Guida?
Whoa! I just read that there are rumors Nate Diaz will be fighting Clay Guida at TUF 8 Finale December 13th on MMAWeekly.com (it was linked on The Underground).
NO FREAKIN' WAY! What a great match up. Props to Joe Silva for that. These are two unbelievable fighters... I can't wait.
There is no way I can choose who I want to win. I'm pretty much neutral at this point because I am friends with both of them. I absolutely love Clay. He is an amazing friend and Nate is from my hometown, Stockton.... so there is nooo way I am going to say who I want to win. I wish both of them the best of luck.

Somewhere Inside of Me
This song by DJ Tiesto will never get old. Drea and I always bump this song. It's our feel good anthem lol. Whenever we are at home putting our make up on and sipping on some wine getting ready to go out, this is the song we play. Even when we're ready for a long drive to Stockton or Las Vegas we an we always count on DJ Tiesto's Somewhere Inside of Me to start off our next adventure.
Kickin' it with Manny Gamburyan
Yesterday, Manny Gamburyan was picking up his new license plates that read "UFC ANVL". He was on my side of town and called me to see if I wanted to get something to eat. I said "heck yeah" and literally in 5 minutes we were on our way to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.

When we were driving down Fountain Avenue Manny got pulled over. I don't blame him for driving fast. If I was in a Mustang Salen I'd be driving fast too lol. But the cop was a dick as they always are. When he pulled us over the cop got on his speaker phone and told us to pull into the parking lot. When we pulled in the parking lot, the cop said "Roll down your window you must not be hearing me!". We looked at each other and were like WTF we did pull into the parking lot. Manny never got a speeding ticket, so this was his first one. He wasn't too worried about it and shook it off.
At Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles Manny ordered an Omelet and Waffle. I ordered greens, macaroni and cheese, and a chicken thigh. Manny ate his food so fast I didn't think he was that hungry lol.
During lunch I asked him if there was any fighter he'd like to fight again who would it be. His answer was Nate Diaz. Not that he has any beef with Nate, he just wants to fight a really good opponent. Oh and he said he wouldn't mind knocking Sean Sherk out too lol. It looks like Manny will be fighting in the Octagon again sometime in December. I really look forward to Manny fighting again especially after his last fight. Every time I talk to Manny he is always talking about his training. He seems really focused and doesn't want let himself or his fans down his next fight.
I remember Tracy and I being there for Manny after his last fight in Minneapolis. It broke my heart to see his chin down. He was like "Damn Rara, I can't believe it... 12 seconds." I told him to keep his chin up it's not the end of the world or his career. You have to struggle first to succeed that's why I have every bit of faith in Manny to win his next fight.
After Roscoe's I was on the phone with AT&T to get Manny's blackberry internet service connected. Tracy and I have been trying to add him on blackberry messenger for the longest time and the add request never seems to go through. This time I was determined to get Manny up and running on his blackberry game lol.
After spending a half an hour on the phone with AT&T, Manny's blackberry was set and we blackberry messaged Tracy right away. :)

Loyalty
I had a bad day yesterday. No... actually I had a good day that just turned sour. You ever have that one friend who only calls you only when they want something? Well, me having the biggest heart and me being the friend that I am I'm always there, but when it's time for me to want something in return, it will either take a while or it will never happen. I never talk to this person on the phone too so when he called I looked at the caller id like wtf?
It's crazy cause Jaycee and I were just having a conversation about people and their loyalty the other day. Now look, I run into this situation.
It wouldn't have bothered me that much if I didn't care, but the reality is I do. I stay true and loyal to all my friends and when this particular person questioned me about our friendship it really hurt my feelings. I actually cried... and it takes a lot for me to cry. I need to learn not to build friendships with selfish people. It's not worth my time or energy...
Loyalty is a Leo's number one trait and it's something that I'm always good about.
I left my status on my Blackberry saying "I'm going to bed early. I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and shake off this negative energy. The universe is telling me to quit being such a good friend and having such a big heart... No More Mrs.NiceRara... G.nite". It was cute... George, Christina, Jaycee, and Won BBMed me to see if I was okay. Thanks guys! :)
To cheer me up, Won came over and took me to Rite Aid to get me ice cream and Crown lol. I don't know what it is with women and ice cream, but for some reason after crying ice cream just soothes the soul.

Won and I were each others venting buddies. I appreciate friends like him. It's not often someone will go out of their way to bring you ice cream and cheer you up. It was cute too cause the other day Jaycee was telling me how good of a friend Won is to him, and last night Won was telling me how good of a friend Jaycee is to him LOL! At least I know I'm friends with guys who are loyal to each other... shiet! :)
Anyway, I fell much better today now that I relieved myself from that negative energy. Plus, Won left me the Crown HAHA! Thanks Won! :)
