Slumdog Millionare was such a great movie. I would recommend it to anyone. It completely showed the life of a slumdog in India and the crazy things they had to do to get by because of the poverty. Throughout the movie I kept on thinking how beautiful the Indian culture was. Many of you may not know this, only my friends and family from Stockton do, but I used to date a Fijian Indian on and off for four years. He was my high school sweetheart. His family is amazing. They took me in even though I was Filipino and dressed me in Indian sari's as I would attend Indian weddings with them. I loved Roti and Cha with buttered toast, but most of all I loved dancing to bhangra music. My greatest experience was when I got to put Mendi on his cousin at his wedding... that's how much I was family. :) I still love them to this day... During the movie I became grateful for the experience of getting to be a part of such a wonderful culture, because I don't think I would have enjoyed the movie as much as I did.
Arianny enjoyed the movie too. It was such a romantic movie and since we are girls I guess we are suckers for love haha. Next time maybe she and I will go on a double date. Right now we are working on prospects lol ;)
Arianny and I waiting for the movie to start rockin our Ugz
After the movie we hit our favorite Thai spot in Hollywood, Toi off of Sunset. She likes this Chicken Salad and I always get Chicken Pad Ciw. Then we headed to my place to do some internet browsing. Drea was home so we even had more of a ladies night over some hot tea.
It's always nice to have your girlfriends around. Cheers to our next double date! lol ;)
